@BrooksAustinBA SEC added a 9th conf game. That makes a difference. Did you see Penn St? They start w/ Marshall, Temple, Buffalo, Wisconsin, NW! Indiana starts w/ North Texas, Howard, WKU, NW, Rutgers! Very weak stuff. Did any Big10 team schedule tough nonconf other than Ohio St, Mich and Wisc?
@roddreher@kalezelden No, I’m not a Protestant. I cling to the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church. I admit that it is very messy at times. It tests our faith. Pride and despair seem to win too often. Pray for an increase in faith, hope and charity. Pray for the Holy Father. Peace.
@roddreher@kalezelden It was a fine read. I suspect Catholics always struggled to assent to or live up to the teachings of Christ and His Church. That does not make us Protestant. We’re sinners. We don’t let go of our sins easily. Christ’s teachings are hard. (1/2)
@MLJHaynes These SSPX guys are not serious! It’s turning from sad to laughable. So blessed to have Pope Leo as our moral and spiritual guide. Pray for the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. Peace.
@kalezelden In the developed world the lukewarm fall away. The remaining, as per Card.Ratzinger, will be “characterized more by the mustard seed, where it will exist in small, seemingly insignificant groups that nonetheless live an intense struggle against evil and bring good into the world”

@MLJHaynes I saw pride defined as excessive love of one's own excellence. Maybe that is what we have here. I don't know. But it is truly sad. I prayed SSPX would work wonders from within the Church. They chose schism and separation. Another group of protestants. Pray for their humble return
@Liam15789932@holysmoke This is disingenuous. In Feb the Vatican offered to open formal dialogue. In May the Pope issued a warning and continued to prayers for SSPX. On June 16 the Pope cautioned SSPX and on June 30 he issued a final appeal. Such a sad situation. Peace.
@holysmoke I'm sorry, but SSPX seems arrogant and prideful. They are sadly choosing schism over communion with the Church. It's heartbreaking. I pray for our separated brethren.
