Let me say something about the $6 billion dollars right wing media is busy spreading disinformation about:
1. That money wasn't OUR money. None of it was taxpayer money, not a single penny. It was Iran's money that had been frozen and released.
2. That money is currently in a bank account in Qatar. It's not like the mullahs are rolling around in Scrooge McDuck money baths.
3. The $6 billion in released funds can only be used by Iran for humanitarian purposes, like food and medicine, and it's being closely monitored.
4. If Iran tries to use that money for anything other than humanitarian purposes, the United States will freeze the money again.
Let's set the record straight.
Repost this like crazy.
🔥🔥🔥BREAKING: Ted Cruz was just HUMILIATED!!
After Ted’s publicity tour of the Dallas County Inland Port to highlight the $1 million investment they received from the CHIPS Act…
…Cruz was publicly called out for voting against the CHIPS Act in glorious fashion.
Ted was HOPING Texas would forget the following:
In the summer of 2022, Congress passed the CHIPS and Science Act. President Joe Biden signed it into law.
The law allocated $52 billion in federal tax dollars to private companies to build semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Ted Cruz was one of the most promising voices AGAINST IT.
The Lose Cruz PAC was quick to highlight Ted’s flagrant hypocrisy in a post that was viewed tens of thousands of times.
Now we’re also making sure Texas voters see the truth.
So which is it?
Is Ted Cruz:
1) a hypocrite
2) a huge asshole
3) all of the above
Imagine being stuck in a system that doesn't belive you and keeps moving you between an abuser and a "reunification camp" that's basically just torture to make you live with your abuser.
The U.S. Senate is now debating an $886,000,000,000 defense budget. Unless there are major changes to the bill, I intend to vote against it. Here’s why.
Even when cops do get fired for doing something wrong they are often put to work somewhere else, or in this case, rehired years later.
This cop who was fired in 2019 for shooting an unarmed teen is now getting his job back plus back pay for the entire time he was fired $230,000
