@mikeslastword *sigh*
When adjusted for per capita ( ya know, cos Europe has more than twice the people ) the relative deaths of heat vs gun deaths is actually skewed toward more gun deaths. Although Europe is catching up.
@SlagOffTwits So hang on. You have said that in a free market supply and demand dictates prices.
Which is exactly what I said.
You are just an arrogant prick, who thinks, much like the other gormless, sexless wonders out there like claviculoser, that you are somehow…better?
@SlagOffTwits It’s not trolling to have a different opinion. To be an effective debater you must acknowledge that you a) probably do not hold all the facts, b) might have something to learn, and c) might be wrong in some areas.
@SlagOffTwits Somethings availability is what makes it cheap.
Up until the last 2 years, this has not been a problem.
This is not hard. There is no grand scheme to ‘make people poor’.
@giveu2tictacs@jaykelly26 Actually it was *your tea*, as you’d already paid for it. It made zero impact to us and continues to not bother us one bit.
And as for the no more kings rhetoric, best check how the White House is being run.
No trouser twists.
No hi vis belt in day time.
Aggressively tailored hats.
And my favourite - trying to explain to a WO2 that this thing called the RTS meant I couldn’t have a lanyard on my pistol, and him trying to say it was to prevent me having my pistol removed from me by a bad guy.
I recall laughing in his face.
What, other than the metrics stated above?
Trying to be selective with your numbers are we?
If you are using GDP as a metric, that is averaged out. So that includes all those people who happen to not be the almost 75% of white people in the US according to the latest census.
Nice try moving those goalposts though.
@Reginald434301@leonfarquar@TheEconomist And of course this extra spending adds to the much vaunted GDP figure, especially when you include people’s private healthcare plans
@retardrepost@GroovySciFi Money isn’t the only metric my man.
You can have all the money in the world, but not be able to spend time enjoying it or be too sick/fat to spend it, then what good is it.
