@MoneySavingExp how do I best manage an annual travel insurance policy? Eg. Policy runs April- April, I travel in May holiday booked in Jan. If I needed to cancel now would I be covered or would I have needed to have taken out another forward dated annual policy?

@healthdpt 2 days is not the same as 48 hrs. Eg my flight is 6pm tonight, 48 hrs is from 6pm Sunday. But to the example on the gov website I can test ANYTIME Sunday. How can people be expected to get it right when even the official sources can't?

@healthdpt Can you please get your own information correct. As per the NI direct website it's within 2 days of returning, NOT 48 hours. There is even a quoted example "if you travel on Friday, you must take a test on the  Wednesday or Thursday" no mention of hours.
