@Conmort I've been in China a couple of times. One winter in Beijing I had to get out of the city after 4 days, the filth of the air from the coal burning was unbelievable. One summer on a train to Mongolia from China past a train carrying coal into Beijing-the carriages went on forever

@poguesofficial @ShaneMacGowan Pogues were due to play midnight at the Olympia many moons ago. No sign of Shane,things were getting heated out front,a fella came out to recite a poem,he managed to get back in 1 piece. Near 2.30 it started as I recall-the place was hopping!! @threadchick @dexcom I'm finding the #dexcomg7 a disaster. Losing the signal at times has been annoying enough but twice now the sensors have failed-both while at work and an hour from home. I only started on it 2 months ago 🙄 I'd go back to the g6 in a heartbeat

@Diabetes_ie Great stuff and well done to all! I'll never forget seeing Alan Bates as a 9yr old on Super Stars back in the 80s, not just competing but winning it too. To this day an absolute hero of mine, showed me anything was possible. Gave me the belief and courage I needed as a T1D kid

@byBrendanOBrien I used to bump into Kevin back in the day in whatever version of a nightclub was in town. Plenty of guff spoken no doubt but always with hearty laughs too. Unaware of his troubled health, his passing stopped me in my tracks. Great article Brendan, my best to you and the family
