RIP Hayden Panettiere. 🥀
We'll never forget your Lip Sync battle for "Lady Marmalade" & your true admiration for the Queen:
"@xtina's one of my favourite singers of all time - she's so incredibly talented."
No disrespect to Nicole & The Pussycats but this will quite literally always be THEE reunion. Nothing tops this. This is a top five performance from them overall.
Yes, they re-emerged alongside a global pandemic, but their X-Factor reunion is still talked about.
Five girls [no Melody 🫶🏾]
Five mics [four off 80% of the performance until “Don’t Cha”]
Reverb, Fire, Water, Graphics, Petroleum Fits
PCD was back like they never left. With a fire ass new single at that: “React”. [which left some fans irritated due to the lack of shared lead vocals]
Keep in mind, all these women were 38-45 at this point. They hadn’t performed as a group in 10 years.
Not only did they nail it like women half their age, they broke the shit in half and had fans salivating for the loading tour.
To see all the bullshit [Pandemic included] take such a toll on a very promising reunion and legacy restoration is sad.
The current re-reunion is even worse because it’s not the “group”. The material isn’t as strong. And Nicole still isn’t sharing leads.
The overall appeal of The Pussycat Dolls [like KATSEYE] was always the troop appeal. The army-ness of it all. A girl gang with a leader. Not Nicole with interchangeable backup dancers.
New details regarding the ‘BUFFY’ revival series cancellation have been reported by @DEADLINE:
• Hulu felt the show “played too young” as it focused too much on the new character played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong and was too “small.”
• A rewrite to address these issues took place, with more scenes featuring Buffy added and a darker tone.
• Despite the rewrites, Hulu still decided to pass on the series.
• Deadline reports Disney Television Group President Craig Erwich (who was allegedly the producer who wasn’t a fan of the original show that Sarah Michelle Gellar mentioned in an interview) was the one who decided not to move forward with the show.
