@JerusalemDemsas Kinda wish someone would approach me about this because me and my husband can both trace our lineage to the 1600s here in the US and I'd love to tell them all that it's made up and doesn't matter and we should all work together to make this country right now a better place.
@clhubes The cabinets and pulls seem lovely! I'd recommend contact paper for the counters, just because they're the kind that I have and they easily stain and peel and contact paper was such a piece of mind (and looked way better).
Lieber sez he is “incredibly moved” by how people have turned out in support of transit & the MTA.
“Loving the MTA is not a 365 job for New Yorkers. But in the last week, we have felt it and I want to acknowledge it.”
I’ve gotten more telephone calls, emails, texts & voicemails in support of congestion pricing than any other other issue - ever - during my decade in the NYS Senate (that even includes hatred from anti-vaxxers 😱)
As usual, @LizKrueger is right: Killing congestion pricing is a staggering error.
It creates a fiscal crisis for the MTA. Cancels essential subway projects. Increases congestion. Worsens traffic & air pollution. And probably violates the law.

@2AvSagas I take the @MTA bus survey every month just to beg for all-door boarding (and open strollers on every bus, but that one is actually happening!)
