@MissPolly62@aaronsmith@libliars Hahahah, how silly can people be to think you’re getting a rebate when 20 additional taxes were applied beforehand! 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 the state is cooked, debt is over their heads, it’s essentially Gotham City.
@AlboMP The horse has bolted mate!! It shouldn’t take backlash like this to change, you socialists should have thought it through before crashing things!! Can’t wait until the election!!!
@Jackat19@Patriot__au Don’t forget all the additional taxes forced on people to attempt to repay chronic mismanagement of funds. Mass statewide exodus, spiralling crime issues, and CFMEU corruption with missing funds. The goose is cooked.
@Markyles It’s clear the leaders of the Labor party believe it’s ok for themselves to lose 13 billion to organised crime in Vic? Tax payer money, our MONEY!!!
@DrCraigEmerson@abc730 Yeah 47% isn’t that high 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Bracket creep isn’t real 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
How much of the budget is directly from income tax? Dumb ass
@AshPolitik Why do people care what he says, just vote with how you all feel. The feeling on the ground is clear! No amount of his propaganda BS will fly
@BrendanAC84@CampbellNewman You read the room! If you heard the budget and still think it’s about Boomers and Housing, you’re asleep at the wheel! Wake up to yourself
@theinfradev@GeoffWilsonWAM@AlboMP@JEChalmers It’s not how the tax system has been proposed. Nobody would have a problem with that figure, but 47% of 2.4 mil isn’t that. We want growth and productivity. This allows for funding of essential services and social services etc. We should also have a sovereign wealth fund.
@theinfradev@GeoffWilsonWAM@AlboMP@JEChalmers Clearly again you haven’t read the rules on CGT. It’s determined on cost base. Only paying $400k out of $2,000,000 wouldn’t be a problem, but it’s not the case. Incentivising people will create jobs, growth and spending into the economy. Taxing it will do what taxes do, slow it.
@theinfradev@GeoffWilsonWAM@AlboMP@JEChalmers So let me tell you the reality of human nature. If you disincentivise things, humans inherently become lazier, if you incentivise things, people create. These creators starts small businesses, which create jobs, productivity etc, which helps pay for all these things you want.
@theinfradev@GeoffWilsonWAM@AlboMP@JEChalmers So you think they spend it well enough to carve out even more? Hmmm, the Feds just added a lazy 2billion extra for Victoria’s overpriced CFMEU tunnel project. I’m well aware of a tax return, I just don’t see incentive of paying 47% to clowns who spend money with care.
