199 Democrats voted AGAINST a clean three week extension of the FISA National Security Law for political purposes.
When the bill went down, they APPLAUDED.
They are willing to JEOPARDIZE the safety and the security of the American people to make a cheap political point.
I pray that we do not have a serious calamity on our shores.
@AmericanIdol Been out of the country for a while and finally watched the final episode. I want to apologize on behalf of Keyla and Jordan for not winning the title. It's absolutely ridiculous. It should have been a tie between Jordan and Keyla.
Why is everything political? EVERYTHING.
This vote should be a no brainer for anyone who chooses to put the interest of the people first. #StupidityReigns.

@SenSchumer Random video unrelated to your post. Thought I'd share it with you in case you've never seen or heard about it. It's priceless

@iknowsport91355@RandyLevine1 "Nobody is saying that they have to pay $40 million dollars to fill the roster. Schools are actively choosing to do this." This is exactly the problem. There must be changes!! We need laws to keep this in check. This is not the NFL.
@RandyLevine1 how to fix college sports:
-Allocate a pool of $$ based on a fair percentage for athletes
-Continue evaluating athletes as usual
-Track athlete's performance while still in school
-Pay the athletes based performance & other factors after they leave school
Win:Win
@iknowsport91355@RandyLevine1 College athletics is not doomed but it will be if the rules are left untouched. It cannot be turned into just a money making machine for athletes. Sure, athletes MUST get their fair share, but education MUST still be a priority. Transfers are ok but they MUST be curtailed.
@iknowsport91355@RandyLevine1 So you're telling me that even an ACT of Congress is not enough to fix this mess. If you're right, let's declare College Sports doomed right now. Why even try?
@iknowsport91355@RandyLevine1 I'm suggesting a 'pool' for athletes. There should be one for both schools and athletes (a fair share). It may require Congress intervention but where there is a (political) will there is a way. This would be so much better than the current mess & would solve so many issues
