It really feels like the entire world has turned into an inescapable panopticon. I look back on the pre-computer days and they almost seem like a time of ridiculous freedom, where you could just skip town and start a new life whenever you wanted
In a capitalist economy, if you aren’t born into wealth, your only capital is your labor. So your body is reduced to a commodity you are forced to sell. If you can’t sell it for enough to survive and maintain yourself, you lose your only capital.
Remember: the “elite” talk shit about Harvard constantly calling it woke but send their kids there. Bad for you but good for them. Their entire world view and policies behind them are lies.
The older I get, the more I reach the conclusion that most problems within any relationship can be resolved with emotional intelligence and good communication, only if both parties have the same intention: to find solutions.

We made it all up. All of it. Money, bills, capitalism, war, laws, the 5-day workweek, 3 meals a day, school, traditions, housing costs, food insecurity. Almost everything we say is “just the way it’s done” is something humans created, and it is important to remember that.
