@AlhassaMansaray Modeling for students how to engage in productive arguing (how to not take things personally) and see different view points. #wuedt6020
@MsphillipsA114 There are many opportunities to learn technology and train using them. But, sometimes it's difficult to find the time to engage, especially when you have responsibilities outside of the work day. I wish we had more time during the school year to engage and train! #wuedt6020
@CBradwell22@McCoolWILMu I think educators need to model HOW to use social media to learn. My students were amazed that I use Twitter to "learn" and not just tweet funny videos or memes. After showing them a few things, they began to understand but they weren't convinced just by telling them. #wuedt6020
@Kenneth79987270@McCoolWILMu Flipgrid is such a great way to get kids comfortable with each other as well. I like to use something low stakes as their first video to get them comfortable and then ready to use it for content! #WUEDT6020
@McCoolWILMu I use Google apps like Jamboard/Slides/Docs almost daily! We use it almost exclusively at my school. This helps my students work smarter, not harder, as they move from class to class. Also - Schoology is a must have as it keeps my students talking and sharing! #WUEDT6020
@LovesEdTech I am really interested in microlearning, too, and think my middle schoolers would benefit from it. Their attention spans are so short, so this could be a great alternative for them! #WUEDT6020
@jedelenELA_@Kenneth79987270@EdTechLaura I think gamification has increased motivation for my kids! Some of the games on Legends of Learning have increased my student's ability to focus during class. #wuedt6020
@EdTechLaura I have started using gamification in my classroom, including Legends of Learning. It has increased motivation and given some of my students who may have not been interested in an assignment before a chance to show their learning while having fun! #wuedt6020
