@pisstachiyo also you can het clear wood finish that doesn’t alter the way the wood looks too much but also protects the porous wood you used to stain or trap dirt in it. DIY projects are lots of fun and super rewarding and I hope this helps you in future endeavors

@pisstachiyo cool project 👍 , next time you work with wood buy some 80 and 120 grit sand paper and even if you decide to use cheaper lumber it will allow you to end up with a higher quality product that doesn’t splinter or wear over time.
