@NYNJHarper What is wrong with them John? Baty is hot and he was on base 3 times tonight and they pinch hit for him with Taylor in the 9th! Why? Makes no sense. He has been hitting lefties...he needed to take that at bat.

@PSLToFlushing @James_Schiano Vientos has repeatedly challenged and lost every time in non-important situations early in games. He certainly needs to be told to stop doing so.

@sal_licata Why did Mendoza take him out after 93 pitches? With the Brewers he always went 100-105. He has to be given the chance to get out of that inning. Mendoza can't handle a pitching staff. He baby's his starters and the bullpen lets the inherited runners score.

@PSLToFlushing Joe, great podcast last night as usual. I'm disappointed that nothing was mentioned about Brett Baty. I know he can play left field but I think he is a perfect fit for first base. He can scoop balls and he improved so very much at 3rd base last year. Your thoughts?

@martinonyc Good interview with David Stearns but I wish you had asked him if Brett Baty would also learn to play first base. I think he would be a good fit there. Are there any plans to have him learn first base?

@martinonyc I just watched the interview again and you asked David about Baty in left field and he responded about Baty in left field but there was no mention of Baty at 1st base by either of you. I would love to know if they plan on Baty trying to play first base.

@martinonyc I heard him say that he is confident that Baty could play left field. I do not recall him saying anything about first base. I will go back and listen to the interview again to check that out.

@SteveGelbs I realize this was a Bo Bichette press conference but I am disappointed that you did not ask David Stearns what are the Mets plans for Brett Baty. They have said nothing about Baty..can he play fist base or left field? You a better than that Steve.

ESPN is horrible...the Mets just sent 6 batters to the plate, and they did not mention one player's name...they just talked over the entire inning. I'm surprised they even showed the field!

@Metsmerized Great...another game I won't be able to see. I live outside of the NYC area, and I pay for the MLB Extra Innings package to watch the Mets with their SNY announcers and each year I get less of them, and do I get any money refunded?..NO!
