OPEN $OPEN People forget that when Opendoor nearly went under a year ago, it was the doing of previous management. Kaz and team had NOTHING to do with it.
Kaz and Team saved the company, thanks to the massive support of the #OPEN ARMY!
This is not true. In my first call I said ANI positive on a twelve month go forward basis at the end of 2026. I've said the same thing on every call. ANI is Adjusted Net Income.
Last call, we said EBITDA positive starting in Q2 2026 on a twelve month go forward basis and we guided to the same thing again.
This has not changed. We just said we were ahead of schedule last quarter and we confirmed that again this quarter.
$BTC still looks bearish to me.
If it pushes back toward $65K, I think sellers will step in aggressively.
I still believe there’s one more leg down… a sharp sell-off with a spike below the previous low. One final flush before the market resets.
I talk about leading indicators all the time - and if you didn't catch this in the $OPEN call or if you didn't think it mattered, you're missing @nejatian driving operating leverage.
The days of Opendoor as a house flipper are indeed over. It's not an IF that they will be profitable - it's literally on deck for Q3 and Q4.
And it's only been 10 months! This type of transformation is quite literally insane. Everyone is fixated in the lower guidance of contribution margin for Q3 - but if they acquire at the current pace (which will only accelerate) then it won't matter.
$OPEN people are looking at year on year comps and that is not a right thing to do. Because we all know last year it was broken. Look at what happened in past 2-3 quarters and assess your investment base on that. I am still long. Can @kaz do better though? Hell yes !
OPEN $OPEN We are oversold. If we continue to sell off, should find support at 3.63. Break of 3.63, next area of support is 3.57. I would be surprised if we didn’t bounce there. If we can bounce here, and break above 3.98, it’s a straight shot back back to 4. Then 4.90.
