@Renzo147369@thereddaredev1l The Sokovia Accords (or at least the policing of superhumans in the MCU world) and the Raft are actually major plot points of Jessica Jones Season 2.
@StelxyG Thematic elements in stories be beatin y'alls asses. He's meant to represent 81's brother and thus be his soul/driving motivation. The Ranger Candidates' mission was search and rescue - he became the mission.
@lullabyliyah@1958toinfinity some kids go to watch mj perform in a magical prohibition era speakeasy, where he dances and kills his rivals, when evil Joe Pesci’s spider-themed army raid the club and catch the kids, so Mike has to save them by transforming into a giant robot/spaceship
@jayjjalen Dawg are we serious right now? GOTG 3 and a move that came out a few months ago. More impactful than the trilogy that changed how comic book movies are perceived and made. Crazy work.
@korysverse Y'all gotta be more willing to handle these movies having bigger stakes and more impact. Everyone complains about the Scorceses of film calling superhero movies "not movies", but also whines when superhero movies have real consequences and complications in their stories.
@WillOfXebec @Est_NineDeuce @devinjelani@korysverse Zemo was grieving and wanted to die - T'Challa literally stops him mid-suicide. Making him live with his grief was a worst punishment. Killing Namor starts a war that ends in either Wakanda committing genocide or being destroyed. Both of these decisions were practical, not moral.
@anthonyche50034@spectrumarvel It isn’t the fact that he was replaced by a Skrull, it’s the fact that him being a Skrull since Civil War just doesn’t make any sense or work at all story-wise with the rest of the events in the MCU from Civil War to Endgame or even the story as presented in Secret Invasion.
