Important but not yet peer reviewed paper shows that variants emerge more from less vaccinated countries and less from more vaccinated countries. Clear support that enlightened self interest best served by helping the entire world get adequate vaccines. https://t.co/RlFCdZyJOv
Women are heading back to work, but they weren’t on the couch.
Women were caring for their children, and their parents, and our communities.
And now, they’re scrambling to piece together childcare and elder care.
But our communities don’t care for them in return.
Every woman I know “works,” in all different kinds of ways. Some at home, some in an office, and most in both.
As someone wiser than me said, “some countries have social safety nets, and America has women.”
Let’s fix that.
There is a difference between moving fast and rushing.
You can move fast and be thoughtful. When you rush, you sacrifice thoughtfulness.
Conversely, when you are thoughtful but not moving fast, you are overthinking it. Procrastination in disguise.
Don’t rush, but don’t wait.
I enjoyed doing Michael Holmes CNN international show last night. Rather “enjoy” is the wrong word. He asks such intelligent questions and goes right to the heart of the matter.

Covid (@UCSF) Chronicles, Day 495
When I began my tweets 494d ago, it was before we had reliable local, US, or world data. So I focused on data from @UCSFHospitals. Today, we’re awash in data, yet I find my hospital's data still provides a unique lens into our situation. (1/20)
