ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — County government documents explicitly identify households with undocumented or mixed immigration status as a priority category for Maryland’s Community Schools Rental Assistance Program.

This isn’t simply a social media allegation. The language appears on Anne Arundel County’s official application guidance.

The program is funded through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, under legislation Gov. Wes Moore signed in 2024.

▪️ IMMIGRATION STATUS PRIORITIZED: County guidelines identify undocumented and mixed-status households alongside families experiencing homelessness, eviction proceedings or disconnected utilities.
