@AaronGleeman What is the longest duration for a previous baseball “strike?”
This seems like something the MLB and Players will disagree on and lead to a stand still in negotiations
Tonight the @Twins' Byron Buxton:
- hit a leadoff HR
- had all of his team's hits
- drove in all of his team's runs
No other MLB player has done all of that in a victory (since RBI became official in 1920).
Another good start from Taj Bradley, who has a 2.87 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 47 innings.
He's completed at least five innings in seven straight starts, including at least six innings in six of them.
Fastball averaged 97.0 mph and his off-speed pitches got 14 swing-and-misses.
What I like the most about these pitching overlays is the body mechanics and how the body, legs and arm slot are so consistent with whichever these professional pitchers throw
Taj Bradley out-dueled Tarik Skubal with 10 strikeouts and 0 walks in 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball.
His fastball averaged 96.4 mph and his splitter got 9 swing-and-misses.
Through three starts, Bradley has a 1.08 ERA and 22-to-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 16 2/3 innings.
