like don’t get me wrong so many idols are still very talented. but like. people care WAY too much about looks and visuals. it just defeats the purpose of the musical aspect
saw someone say here a while ago that kpop isn’t fun and they don’t really debut belters or singers like onew and jonghyun anymore. and like damn… the last one we got that came close to that level of talent is jongho
it still makes me so sad that people mainly remember jjong for his passing rather than his monumental impact to kpop and kpop culture as a whole. plus he was just a stellar human being with such a big heart
if the industry is so worried about weight and visuals rather than the talent of the artist, i fear it’s not about music and more about worshipping pretty people who fit conventionally attractive standards as an aesthetic.
i’ve been keeping up with boy story ever since close to around their debut. he is MY age, and has been doing this since he was a kid. he absolutely did not deserve to be spoken to that way and some people just have round faces bruh???
@isSHINeeback it might sound corny but jjong inspires me every day. for some time i had begun to push art to the side as a hobby due to lack of support; but now i draw, sing, and play music to carry on his legacy of spreading art. he inspires me to live with an open heart and to love hard
so happy ateez is going to nashville but also so sad because they don’t know the coolest spots like PLEASE GO TO TERTIARY SIGHT I WANNA SEE THEIR AURA PHOTOS
