I was lucky to join @bborzyko of @wapo to discuss the critical issues around supporting and empowering our students with disabilities. Now as ever, recruiting and retaining special education teachers is so important—and to do that, we need increased pay and respect.
I am excited to welcome @bborzyko to The Allan Small Financial Show as my special guest on Wednesday OCT 4 at 12noon EST. We will discuss the rising #interestrate environment and the effects of a slowing #economy on all of us! Please tune in.

By waving goodbye to mobile devices and completely reinventing itself, BlackBerry looks to a future as a major Canadian tech success story (again). Read @bborzyko's #NMAB2B23-winning profile of BlackBerry's rebound here: https://t.co/h20ljAdMOV

@ScottBilleck If you're on a country kick, you should definitely listen to Jason Isbell. Wallen covers Isbell's Cover Me Up – one of the best songs ever written I say. Start with Southeastern.

@valueterminal Is muscle memory when you haven't listened to a song in 30 years and then put it on and can still sing all the words? That always blows my mind.
@heoj Haha. Good luck. No matter what I do I can’t get up before 7 or go to sleep before midnight. I’ll also never give up my nights. Let me know if you do ever find the secret to doing both!
Attention Journalists! It's time to start looking at all the great work you did last year.. Sabew Canada's 9th annual Best in Business awards contest opens up Feb. 8 and we're looking forward to all your submissions.
Stay tuned for more details soon. #journalism#Canada#Awards
@BenjWaldman It's what keeps me going through the winter. I've tried embracing Winnipeg winters, but I just can't. The trees do look nice, though. (For the record, I didn't like Toronto winters either.)
@byHeatherLong Interesting. I'm 2 years into my 40s and so far this is shaping out to be the best decade yet. Work is busier than ever, but kids are getting old enough to do their own things. Still difficult to find time to do stuff, but feel like I am spending more time on things I care about.
Listen, we get it – you're journalists. It's your nature to push things right up to deadline. But do us a solid and get your tickets now for the Best in Business Awards @thepilot_to June 21!
