Putting aside Zohran’s Antisemitism, including his calls to Globalize the Intifada to bring violence everywhere, he will devastate young progressives. The NYC Mayor and Council have ZERO authority to enact his proposals. He’ll achieve nothing and disillusion an entire generation.
Zohran Mamdani supporters, you’re wrong. His opponents are not right wing. Mainstream liberals like me — we who deplore Islamophobia, racism, sexism and anti-LGBTQ prejudice — oppose Zohran because his calls to “Globalize the Intifada” incite hatred and violence against Jews.
@mjr1900_rl Nope. Watch the video. He's just standing in the hallway when he is approached by supposed ICE agents who are not wearing official uniforms, covering their faces, and refusing to provide a warrant for his arrest. Even if this were a political stunt, what they did was wrong.
No one is above the law, and if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will face consequences.
New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested for assaulting law enforcement and impeding a federal officer.
UNTRUE. A total absolute lie. Watch the video. He is standing calmly in the hallway. ICE agents come up to him to arrest him. He repeatedly asks to see the warrant for his arrest. Watch: https://t.co/8uAKNZTlyq
New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested for assaulting law enforcement and impeding a federal officer. Our heroic ICE law enforcement officers face a 413% increase in assaults against them—it is wrong that politicians seeking higher office undermine law enforcement safety to get a viral moment. No one is above the law, and if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will face consequences.
Fortune ranks No. 10 on @Similarweb’s new list of fastest-growing websites in the U.S.
The #Digital100 report designates Fortune as one of the Big Winners, classified as the "fastest-growing digital players from among the top 250 websites and the top 5% of apps across all industries." https://t.co/weG3dyZanq
New @FortuneMagazine cover: The first exclusive profile of Elliott Hill, the new CEO of Nike. The sportswear brand's stock is down 60% over the last 3 years. Can Hill, who started as a Nike intern years ago, reinvigorate it? https://t.co/Lnb5o9fu31
How did a guy who spent his formative years in progressive environments - & even more recently sent his own kids to a "chichi progressive school" - become so radical & antidemocratic? I'd be interested in seeing another interview or profile exploring Curtis Yarvin's journey. 4/4
Curtis Yarvin was in my HS graduating class. I didn't know him well & he may not even remember me. I've been aware of his views & rising influence on the right for awhile. It's a bit surprising. 1/4 https://t.co/h3bBTiLtA7
It surely didn't help that he was a couple of years younger than we were after skipping grades. He was studious & involved in clubs like the math team. After a stint at Johns Hopkins, he went to Brown & UC Berkeley, according to my HS classmates. 3/4
i know people always say "the most important thing is that you're safe" or "those are just things" but homes are full of memories and represent years of savings, hard work and stability for many. there's so much grief in that loss

seriously, the @FortuneMagazine#FortuneGlobalForum gala was BEYOND. the setting at @jazzdotorg, the Broadway-level entertainment, the food, the @WuliangyeGlobal baijiu toast, the people in the room ... incredible. everyone there was raving about it.
@anthonynap he said it all there - that it's necessary & even amazing to experience failure, learn from it, & keep working/growing/pushing. he clearly holds himself to a high standard & cares about excellence. plus he's a truly great public speaker - had hundreds of C suite execs riveted
I don't follow football, so admittedly I don't know a ton about @TomBrady. What a compelling speaker he is! Loved the stories he told about his career, his work ethic, and his leadership approach at @FortuneMagazine#FortuneGlobalForum. I could have listened to him for hours.
"The reality of your business and your career is overcoming adversity," @TomBrady says at #FortuneGlobalForum. https://t.co/ZNfwCxb2IG
"The only way to do that is to fail. The only way to fail is to put yourself in uncomfortable situations. To me, failure is amazing."
Was absolutely riveted listening to the iconic @BrookeShields share her experience with aging, her inspiration behind her brand Commence, and more at the @FortuneMPW x @indeed breakfast at #FortuneGlobalForum. Wow. She was so articulate and so real and authentic.
We were honored by special guest @BrookeShields
at our #FortuneGlobalForum Most Powerful Women breakfast presented by @indeed.
"I am really, truly, slightly terrified’ about the misogyny in our culture," Shields said at the event.
