Not academic or a sporting achievement but definitely something I'm proud of. Working with fighting against homelessness whilst on the tail end of the PhD has been an eye opening and inspirational experience.

VIVA ✔️ big thanks to @CarolynAEmery@SteveMellalieu, Marianne Gittoes and of course my supervisory team @IzzyMoorePhD @VH_Stiles @gemRPhD. Something I'm sure I'll be proud of once my brain has recovered 🤯 (thanks @bc_robson for the graphics)
Really excited to have my first lead author paper published in #SJSMM 🙌 Massive thankyou to all co-authors, and @SSCSantry for letting me use their data 🙂

PhD students can get overlooked & not given a voice when considering the impact of COVID on research. So I asked a group of PhD students to create memes reflecting how it felt to do a PhD during COVID. Here is their voice (thread 1/7) @AcademicChatter
It can be a lonely place:
PhDs often focus on project outcomes (e.g papers, tick boxes) & not the student's journey. Believing in students & supporting their growth on that journey is far more meaningful & recognises that every PhD student (& therefore project) is different #AcademicChatter
