A little late to #PortfolioDay, but hereโs some of my work! I do little drawings of odd dinosaurs, strange animals, mostly pins trees, and mostly unusual landscapes.
Love me (even better, commission me/buy my stuff!).
This is my first time animating a Ceratopsian, so there was a bit of a learning curve. But by the time I finished this Triceratops' walk cycle, I was really enjoying myself!
Thoughts? Always open to constructive criticism.

Almost forgot to post the giant silly squiggly wiggly spaghetto in color.
Not entirely sure which color choice is best, yellow is a bit better artwise, but green made just a bit more sense when I envision it walking on the forest floor.
(Green version in replies).
We report: the sunset lures us outside. We huff and puff a little, but we put our shoes back on, and as soon as we see more of the sky, we know it was worth it. We walk up the street to look for the horizon, accompanied by a jackdaw. The colours slowly leech out.
congratulations!!!!!!!!! youโve successfully pushed everyone who cares about you away by isolating yourself & being difficult & standoffish & weirdly depressed & awkward & sensitive!!!! do you feel Better now
does anyone know any beginner hobbies for someone who is still consumed by an overwhelming sadness that itโs hard to do any activity outside of consuming media?
how to make friends without feeling desperate:
> build a life that feels FULL outside of just making friends
> do hobbies, projects, routines that genuinely excite you - when you're fulfilled, other people will be drawn to your energy
> important (!!!) don't take it personally if a new friendship doesn't pan out. there's a LOT of factors that have to align for new friendships to work - availability, capacity, etc
> stop overthinking so much. i promise they're not thinking about that one little thing you keep beating yourself up over
> maximize your chances of getting along with the people around you - think about who you vibe with & then figure out where those people hangout
> don't treat every interaction like a high-stakes audition - find people that like the *real* you
> go deep and reflect on the parts of you that don't feel worthy of connection
> best way to make friends is when you're doing something you love. sign up for a class/hobby that interests you and attend consistently
> move toward "do I even vibe with this person?" rather than "do they like me?"
> don't pursue friendships that make you feel anxious, nervous, or insecure
> be PROUD of your process - putting yourself out there, meeting new people, learning what kind of friendships you want. those are all wins
> stop chasing friendships that feel one-sided. take it as a data point if you're always initiating - sometimes a great conversation can be just that. you don't always need to push it into something more
> you'll stop feeling so anxious when you start shifting your attention outwards to the person in front of you
> ask questions, be curious, really listen. people love to talk about themselves.
> the organic, lasting connection begins when you can relax into it - when you don't need the moment to BE anything beyond that moment
> every moment spent pursuing the WRONG friendships is preventing you from finding the RIGHT ones
people can FEEL desperation - it pushes away the exact thing you're seeking
ABUNDANCE MINDSET BABY!!!
your people are out there - they're just waiting to find you!!!
you got this!!
