@krassenstein@stoolpresidente This is so misguided. By hoping Belgium wins, you abdicate your claim to the team. It’s America’s team. Not Trump’s. You’re giving him the team. I refuse to do so and refuse to let my patriotism be guided or altered by Trump. You should too.
@krassenstein That’s just silly. Trump shouldn’t have intervened and his doing so is a blot on the Country. It doesn’t mean we should now root against our team. Extreme takes really harm credibility.
@ThePoniExpress@937theFan I think people are inflating the price for Larkin, who has a full no movement clause. Rust, a first and another lesser prospect is probably the limit. Then it’s up to Larkin.
@Jason_Shetler Unless you’re talking restricted free agency and thinking the Hawks or Blue Jackets will part with Bedard or Fantilli, it’s really not an option.
@JoshYohe_PGH@_kyle_frey This is the root of the hypocrisy of the Flyers. The team promotes nastiness and the fans love it, BUT only when it’s their team being nasty. No other team is allowed to play their game, as if it’s trademarked. It’s very silly.
@seangentille Well that’s only because that’s how the league called these. By the league’s precedent, this should not have been a goal even though it very clearly was one. The league brought this debate upon itself, which is ironic when the commissioner is a lawyer.
@Sean__Gallen@PenguinsJesus 1) It was before the whistle. 2) You guys love this stuff when it’s your team doing it but can’t take it when someone else does.
@MolinariPGH Probably true. What’s wild is how much this fan base whines about everything when they hate Crosby for whining. I live here and they whine constantly.
@DrEricDing@LesBowen Not to mention we probably would have taken Canada during the revolution had we vaccinated against smallpox. But who needs a healthy fighting force?
@seanberryphoto Two of which were empty net, so the difference would have been one. Take away the goal scored by Bischel’s penalty and it’s tied. There are some things that are egregious in hockey and abhorrent to the spirit of the game. Stealing a guys stick is one of them.
@JoshYohe_PGH I don’t see anything there either. But it’s no different than when Brazeau was called for it except no contact from D, so it should be interference by NHL precedent. BUT, precedent is also pointless. If there was video in Toronto, it’s probably just a monkey flipping a coin.
@krassenstein The right analogy would have been: “why didn’t you tell Germany about Pearl Harbor?” Or maybe “why didn’t we tell Great Britain about Hiroshima?”
