The key highlight of the AGM was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Center for Integrated Community Development (CICD-U) This will see co-operation between the two Organizations in exploring the production potential of Buhweju including Tourism.

'God gave us wisdom to influence our destiny. However, the people of Buhweju have not been well guided on better approaches to a better way of living. For example, we struggle a lot to access education & better incomes hence leading low standards of living' ~Chairman BCTI
On the 17th February, 2024, BCTI held its first Annual General Meeting the Chairman addressed over 400 attendees(members) on the key achievements of BCTI in the past one year. Many more ideas from members and guests were shared which will propel the Org going forward
