During my one-day visit to Switzerland, I felt very happy to meet my dear friend and brother, Mr Fabio Azevedo, President of FIVB.
We share a very warm and close relationship. Our discussion was full of love, ideas and hope for the future of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.
We spoke about how volleyball can reach new heights, how more opportunities can be created for young players, and how KIIT and KISS can contribute more to the global volleyball movement.
I am grateful to Mr Fabio and the FIVB family for their trust, affection and encouragement. Together, we will continue to work for the growth of volleyball in India and across the world.
At KIIT, we stand firmly against child labour and for the right of every child to learn, grow, and dream freely.
Through our outreach programmes and social initiatives, KIIT students actively advocate for the dignity, safety, and futures of children across communities.
As a mark of gratitude, KIIT offers fee waiver scholarships for the wards of serving, retired, disabled, & deceased defence personnel.
We are committed to making quality education more accessible.

We were delighted to welcome the Consul General of Australia, Mr Bernard Lynch, & Padma Bhushan Shri Leander Paes to our campuses ahead of the launch of the Leander Paes–Samanta Academy. The visit opened new avenues for Indo-Australian sports collaboration & future partnerships.
A proud milestone for KIIT, KISS and Indian volleyball.
The FIVB–KIIT–KISS Centre of Excellence for Volleyball has been elevated by FIVB to an International Centre of Excellence for Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.
With this recognition, KIIT and KISS will now serve as a global platform for players, coaches, trainers and sports professionals from India and across the world.
KIIT remains committed to strengthening Volleyball and Beach Volleyball, creating opportunities for young athletes, and supporting India’s dream of reaching the Olympic stage in these sports.
At KIIT, the spirit of giving is at the heart of our community.
On World Blood Donor Day, our students, staff, and faculty come together to participate in blood donation drives, a powerful reminder that one selfless act can save multiple lives.
On the occasion of RAJO, we at KIIT send our warmest wishes to every young woman on campus and beyond.
May this day remind you that your health, dignity, and voice matter, today and always. Here's to breaking barriers, owning your story, and celebrating the incredible woman you are. Happy RAJO!
We are proud to share that Akash Ranjan Mund, a B.A. English student from our School of Liberal Studies has been selected to represent India at the World Abilitysport Youth Games 2026 in Türkiye from 18–21 June.

I feel very happy to share that the FIVB–KIIT–KISS Centre of Excellence for Volleyball at KIIT has been elevated to an International Centre of Excellence for Volleyball and Beach Volleyball by FIVB.
This announcement was made at the FIVB Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, in the presence of FIVB President Dr Fabio Azevedo and the FIVB leadership.
This is a proud moment for KIIT, KISS, Odisha and India. What started as a centre to support Indian volleyball players will now become a global platform for players, coaches and sports professionals from different countries. It will also give international athletes the opportunity to study at KIIT and KISS while receiving world-class volleyball and beach volleyball training.
I am thankful to Dr Fabio Azevedo and the entire FIVB leadership for their trust and encouragement.
My dream is to see India represented in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball at the Olympic Games. I believe this International Centre of Excellence will help us identify, train and prepare young talents for the future, including our long-term aim towards Brisbane Olympics 2032.
Warm wishes on Pahili Raja.
This beautiful festival reminds us to respect Mother Earth, womanhood, our daughters and our culture.
The joy of Raja swings, pitha, new clothes and togetherness always brings back sweet memories of Odisha’s tradition. May Mahaprabhu bless everyone with happiness, good health and peace.
Raja ra aneka aneka subhechha.
Every child deserves books, dreams and a happy childhood, not labour. On World Day Against Child Labour, let us remember that education, care and opportunity are the rights of every child. A child in school today is the strength of society tomorrow.

Very happy to meet our KIIT athletes today. They came to share their medals and trophies after their wonderful performance at the 72nd State Senior Athletics Championship 2026 held at Cuttack.
I feel proud that our athletes became Champions in the Girls U-20 and Girls U-23 categories, secured the Overall Championship Runners-Up Trophy, and won 33 medals — 16 Gold, 10 Silver and 7 Bronze. They also created 6 New Meet Records.
My heartiest congratulations to all the medal winners, record holders, coaches and support staff. Special appreciation to Shri Sanjay Garnaik, a renowned athletics coach, and the entire athletics team for their sincere efforts.
Oceans are the heart of our planet. They give life to millions of living beings and keep nature balanced. On World Oceans Day, let us take a small pledge to reduce plastic, keep our beaches clean and protect the blue beauty of Mother Earth.
Six months. Sixteen volunteers. Countless ideas.
They brought fresh perspectives and youthful spirit—leaving behind an impact that continues to inspire.
Youth power is truly unstoppable.

Happy to share that KIIT & KISS have been recognised by the FIT India Movement as Model Campuses for the Vehicle-Free Campus Initiative and felicitated with the FERN Award.
This recognition gives us great happiness because it is connected with health, fitness, cycling, clean mobility and care for the environment.
A bicycle is not only a means of transport. It is a simple friend of health, discipline and nature. At KIIT and KISS, we always try to encourage our students and staff to follow healthy and eco-friendly practices in daily life.
I am thankful to FIT India, Sports Authority of India and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, for recognising the efforts of KIIT and KISS.
Heartiest congratulations to the Indian Women’s Football Team on winning the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026.

Our lovable KISSians, who were part of the 20 KIIT and KISS students selected under the fully funded Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme at the University of Craiova, Romania, returned to the KISS campus today and were given a warm welcome by the KISS family.
During their stay in Romania, they represented India, Odisha, Santali language and tribal culture on an international platform. They performed Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet in Santali language at the International Shakespeare Festival, where participants from over 30 countries witnessed and appreciated their talent.
After their return, they also had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, who appreciated their participation and performances. They also performed at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, before a distinguished gathering of more than 500 people, including over 200 ambassadors, high commissioners and diplomats.
KISS is proud of its students. Their journey from KISS to Romania and back is a beautiful example of how education, opportunity and confidence can take tribal children to the global stage.
Heartiest congratulations to all our students. May they continue to make KISS, Odisha and India proud.
Happy to welcome the Krishnavataram movie team to KIIT and KISS today for the screening and promotion of the film.
The film beautifully presents the life, love, devotion and message of Lord Krishna. Such films help our young generation remain connected with Indian culture, spirituality and values.
I felt very happy that the team interacted with our students and appreciated the campus, the discipline of our children and the atmosphere of KIIT and KISS.
My best wishes to the entire team of Krishnavataram. May the blessings of Lord Krishna be with all.
