I’d put 9/11/22 over 9/4/24, having been to both. Both great shows (PJ always turns it up at MSG) but the 22 show was electric. A bit shorter like the rest of those 22 shows, but an awesome Present Tense, early set Porch (!), and one of the best Sonic Reducers in recent memory
The watering down of the tournament with mediocre power conference teams and removing opportunities for conference champions in the main bracket, it’s the codification of where this sport has been heading. At least you could point to the tourney still. Now that’s tainted too.

Lots of great stuff this time of year, but this was a really awesome, genuine exchange.
Jim and I pointed it out on STATS a few times this year, but one thing I wish would've gathered more steam this year was Miami's performance against top-150 competition. Pre-NCAAT, they had played like a top-40 group in their few opportunities against quality teams. (SMU 51st.)
