@briangcronin Maybe I'm wrong, but my understanding of List was that it was basically an array under-the-hood, with the same contiguous memory guarantees. The Microsoft reference implementation backs that up.

Is that not correct, or am I misunderstanding what you're getting at?

I felt a lot of cringe when I saw the open world cruft in FF7. So I just... skipped most of it, and the game is 100% enjoyable and playable without it. I'm on chapter 10 and have yet to feel underpowered.
