Good morning, here we have Jesus✞ taking a humble approach when speaking. He states that only God is good.
So what makes us good? Or a better way to ask is who makes me good?
God in us and through us is what makes us good.

@wcoleman@dallasnews Yes indeed Alto is always on time and very professional, not only do they cater to the passenger but they do it in every area possible.
Alto is a great choice for a safe and very friendly travel companion.
I sent this opinion piece to the editors of @dallasnews. They will chose whether to publish it. Posting here because it’s important that Dallas travelers know the full story:
Yesterday, the Dallas Morning News published an opinion piece titled "Dallas squeezes travelers with Alto rideshare contract at Love Field." The headline implies that Alto’s contract with the airport is bad for travelers and that the City’s decision to award it “made (the situation at Love Field) worse.”
In fact, without this contract Love Field travelers would be left with no choice but to walk to Garage B for their ride. Alto is providing the City of Dallas, Love Field, and travelers a better solution; a choice they wouldn’t have without our innovative and disruptive model.
The airport and the City first decided to move rideshare pickup away from the curb in early 2019, at a time when Alto was still a brand new startup having just launched in Dallas. In 2022 the City accepted bids for and selected a contractor to build the new Transportation Network Center at a cost of nearly $2M. These decisions and awards are all public information and available via the Dallas City Council agendas and resolutions. Despite the public nature of these actions Alto never participated in and frankly wasn’t aware of these decisions until after they occurred.
In April of 2023, only after construction on the new Transportation Network Center was already underway and a move was imminent, the airport solicited bids from all Transportation Network Companies on the four (4) curbside pickup spaces that remained at the airport. Uber and Lyft did not submit bids.
Alto’s bid was responsive to the airport’s requirements and was awarded because of our unique operating procedures and differentiators (enabled by our W-2 employee driver model) that allow us significant control over vehicle position, driver performance, and customer service.
The Dallas News and other reporting have also portrayed the $287,000 contract value in a way that could lead the public to believe Alto “bought” the right to these spots. But, importantly, these are payments Alto would be making to the airport anyway. All TNCs pay both a drop off and pick up fee at Dallas Love Field – and all airports around the country. Be sure that Alto’s competitors pay orders of magnitude more to the airport given their scale and this dollar figure was not significant to the City’s decision making.
So, contrary to the Dallas News’s opinion, Alto is actually contributing to an improved experience for Love Field travelers. Without Alto’s willingness and ability to bid on these curbside spaces and to meet the requirements set out by the airport, travelers would have no option but to walk 10 minutes to Garage B to catch a ride.
Alto’s prices are higher. They must be given that our business model – which pays drivers a competitive, consistent, and compelling W-2 wage with access to company sponsored benefits and zero expenses – is more expensive. But that higher price comes with a safer, more consistent, and more hospitable experience.
Now, part of that experience is a far shorter walk at Love Field and we’re proud to offer that benefit to those who choose to use our services. Rides are priced competitively to other higher end offerings in the market and on average 30% lower than Uber’s BLACK product. Although Alto members pay less for every ride than guests, a membership is not required to utilize Alto’s services. Anyone can download and use Alto’s services at Love Field or around Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, or Miami. New Alto riders looking to try our service can even use my personal promo code IKNOWTHECEO for $25 off their first two rides. Catch you curbside!
