Wednesday morning, June 10, members of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources could consider an “Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute” to S.140–Wildfire Prevention Act of 2025 that would repeal the Roadless Rule, potentially advancing this legislative repeal out of committee without any form of congressional hearing or chance for public input.
