The RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) provided safety and security services in #collaboration with @lcswshomrim and @WspuShomrim as a delegation of rabbis visited our #community. Many community members were able to greet the rabbis and consult with them on a host of matters in a safe and organized way.

🚨 Arrest Made – Crime Spree Suspect in Custody

A suspect linked to a crime spree has been taken into custody by @NassauCountyPD. This crime spree included Grand Theft Auto (#GTA); stolen bicycles & expensive scooters; and hundreds of 🚗 break-ins, during which some very expensive valuables have been stolen from within.

This excellent collaboration between RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) and @NassauCountyPD 4th precinct detectives led to the arrest.

#SpecialCategory #MissingPerson incidents leave subjects and their loved ones in a vulnerable state. There has been a rise in #MissingPerson searches overall, and the RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) has worked alongside @NassauCountyPD, @NYPD101Pct, @longbeachpd, and others to successfully reunite several #MissingPersons with their loved ones.

Family members of vulnerable individuals should take necessary safeguards to help ensure their loved one does not get lost. Secure entrances and check in on them periodically. In the event of a #MissingPerson incident, call 911 and the RNSP 24 Hour Hotline at [phone] immediately.

RNSP Search and Rescue units are specially trained to handle these matters, working with other emergency responders to successfully reunite #MissingPersons with their loved ones.

The excellent #collaboration between the RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) and @NYPD101Pct Midnight Patrol resulted in arrests for stealing multiple 🛴s, which were then returned to their rightful owners.

Consider registering your 🚲s, 🛴s, strollers, and/or devices with the @NYPD101Pct #CommunityAffairs & #CrimePrevention Teams by contacting the @NYPD101Pct at [phone] or the RNSP 24 Hour Hotline at [phone].

Upon registration, your 🚲, 🛴, stroller, or device would be marked with with a unique serial number registered to you. That serial number will be electronically stored in a shared database used by the NYPD and RNSP. In the event that your 🚲, 🛴, stroller, or device is lost or stolen and then subsequently recovered, the RNSP & NYPD can ensure that it is returned to you. To date, hundreds of lost and stolen 🚲s, 🛴s, strollers, and devices have been returned to their respective rightful owners.

The excellent work by @NassauCountyPD Homicide Squad resulted in #OneUnder for vehicular manslaughter regarding the motor vehicle accident on Branch Blvd in Woodmere that caused the untimely passing of Moshe Kreindler of blessed memory.

In today's day and age, high-tech cameras are key tools in ensuring public safety. Neighbors can band together to help keep our #community safe by sponsoring an RNSP camera to be situated at key locations around the #community, such as on certain blocks, at key intersections, near schools or houses of worship, or at particular locations within a business district.

It is important to note that camera footage played a key role in the arrest mentioned above.

The RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) inaugurated the newest marked patrol vehicle in its fleet, RNSP Car 5. The RNSP thanks the donor family for this very generous contribution.

RNSP car 5 will be used for high-visibility patrols, at #community events, and to otherwise assist #LawEnforcement in keeping the entire #community safe.

An impaired driver who posed a serious danger to the #community was arrested on the Far Rockaway / @LawrenceVillage border and taken off of our streets. The excellent #collaboration between the @NYPD101Pct Q-Team and the RNSP (Rockaway Nassau Shomrim) resulted in #OneUnder for driving while intoxicated.

While we are enjoying the holiday season, always remember to celebrate responsibly. If you plan on drinking, use a designated driver to transport yourself safely. DWI will result in an arrest.
