Really??? All the complaints so far are about inconvenience and not about being able to do our jobs. Radio Encryption is what's keeping the media from doing their jobs, not a Placard in the window or a plastic card on a lanyard. It's not the Government's job to say who is or isn't Legitimate Media.

Relax, it's when they eliminate you from the email list that notifies you about the press conference is when you have to worry. Just go to https://t.co/xvfmXbiZkE and use their press credential templates to create credentials for all @LaPrensaSD employees, contributors, and freelancers. Or use your inner office credentials. Been using non SDPD pass for over 15 years here & all over the country with no issues.

@LaPrensaSD Been using these for 15 years. Myself and others have been trying to stop SDPD from issuing Press Passes for over 15 years. Especially when they added the Ed Baier Clause for eligibility. Government agencies shouldn't say who is or isn't legit Media. Relax it will be fine.
