The world has witnessed the government of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in occupied Gaza. Month after month, the government of Israel has treated Palestinians in Gaza as a subhuman group unworthy of human rights and dignity, demonstrating its specific intent to physically destroy them. Israel's government and state officials responsible for the crime of genocide must be held accountable. We are calling on all States to use every legal avenue to bring suspected perpetrators to justice. No one should be allowed to commit genocide and remain unpunished. https://t.co/lyfB55V7Y5
Today in History: The Montgomery Bus Boycott
On December 5, 1955, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began, uniting a community to demand justice. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led with a clear vision, stating, “The bus boycott is not aimed at putting the bus company out of business but at putting justice in business.”
Today, we honor this legacy by continuing to stand for justice through nonviolence.

“We're going to fight racism not with racism, but we're going to fight with solidarity. We say we're not going to fight capitalism with black capitalism, but we're going to fight it with socialism.”
Why has law enforcement considered the murders of Black women to have been committed by someone they knew rather than by a serial killer?

Should Democrats move to the right? Absolutely not. That's morally wrong and bad politics.
The real lesson of 2024 is that Democrats must become an anti-establishment party ready to shake up the system on behalf of working people.
This December 1st was the 69th anniversary of Rosa Parks’s arrest for not giving up her seat on the bus. That evening, she didn’t feel like history was being made. #TDIH@JeanneTheoharis https://t.co/lpfScFk7J9
