A bit delayed posting, but enjoyed participating in this panel last weekend on ways to get involved with the various aspects of academia for primarily practicing pharmacists @cshp_ab#CABS2024#CSHPAB
Had a great time at #CPERC2024 last week in beautiful Québec City! It was nice to connect/reconnect with some awesome pharmacy educators and researchers. Merci beaucoup @pharm_umontreal, @universitelaval Faculté de Pharmacie, et @AFPC_Canada!
Happy #IDPharmacistsDay! Thank you to my colleagues for all you do, both for patients and the community as a whole. And just a reminder to everyone that you don't need to have ID or antimicrobial stewardship in your job title to be antimicrobial stewards. #JointheAMSFight 💪💊🦠

Imagine your medicine stops working? 💊
Stressful, isn’t it?

Had a great time at #PainAB2023 this weekend. Was nice to wear my pain hat at a conference for the first time in a while. Enjoyed presenting with these guys @samuelparmiter@EricJLandry.
Lots of fantastic sessions this weekend, great job @Alberta_Pain!
Urinalyses (UAs) are widely used, yet are often ordered inappropriately, and the results are not as meaningful as one might think.
Pyuria (WBCs in urine) is nonspecific (although the absence of pyuria should call into question a diagnosis of UTI).
