@QVHenkel One thing to be aware of is that transparent resin will yellow over the course of a year in normal indoor lighting. These are thin so it won’t be super noticeable but it will never look as good as the day it comes off the printer.
@matseng This is a big use case for fluorinated solvents (aka PFAS) since traditional solvents are acutely damaging to people and the environment. Unfortunately we don’t know the chronic effects of these fluorinated solvents…
@levelsio The tax math doesn’t make sense if you’re comparing to upwork. Their income is also taxed at 40-50%. It would be unbelievably rare to consistently make $100/hr, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, right?
@SirBedwyr@SwiftOnSecurity Ya. Writing custom firmware in Ada is much more complex and expensive than using the same libraries that the rest of the auto industry uses, for example. So they stick with old processors that have the code written already.

@SirBedwyr@SwiftOnSecurity Ya they’re certainly doing a lot. But modern cars do a similar amount, also with some level of redundancy. And cars’ electronics are drastically more compact. The point about quick swapping is good though.
