@andyburnham They have had this for years in France on the government website https://t.co/AxWnSufX6p. It would have been nicer to use OS Maps or open street map on a government site rather than google.
@LukeEdwardsTele No points deduction, no relegation. Strip titles as per Lance Armstrong w/ no winner recorded. They should be fined the £830m + interest, payable over 5yr, with the money distributed through the football pyramid and grassroots football. Fine to count as spend under PSR
@what_a_baztard@Wayne_Dixon The Euro is great, it has major benefits, but it is not ideal for a newly independent country with a relatively small/mid sized economy that is also initially quite susceptible to swings in oil and gas prices. Scottish pound would be the best to help manage the economy
@what_a_baztard@Wayne_Dixon Keep using Sterling initially, w/o formal currency union. Transition to Scottish Pound after initial period of setting up monetary & fiscal institutions. Commit to adopting Euro on joining EU, but never adopt it (a la Poland, Sweden, Romania, Czech Rep. and Hungary)
@Wayne_Dixon@Indysupporter1@Hamillyabass@CommonWealAngus The SNP would most likely govern initially, but likely last no more than a term in its current form, still relatively a “big tent”. New parties would form. I would expect a proper Scottish Labour to do well, even the Tories, if they stood for more than just anti SNP/independence
@FBAwayDays It’s maybe common to have a Scottish and English team or a League 1/2/non league team and PL team, but this is not normal. This would have been season we had just been re-promoted and with a decent squad under Hughton/Pardew after a season romping the Championship.
@glenn_mcki5545@HoweWayTheLads Bruce 😂🤣 might as well add Kinnear and McLaren to the list as well.
Also, technically Roeder won us a t̶r̶o̶p̶h̶y̶ plaque for our glorious Intertoto campaign…
@burntfingerclub I’m in the applaud their name when line up called out or standing ovation if subbed on, followed by being booed every touch during the match camp - for Bruno at least. Tonali had one (very, very) good season and got us £100m, otherwise meh, no special attention required.
@markgoldbridge Every player has their price, but there is no fucking chance Man U are ever paying what he’s worth. He’s been one of #NUFC best players the last 2 seasons and is already in contention for being one of the best LB in the world. £80m next June? It would take that now, as a minimum
@TheAthleticFC You cunts are incessant.
The club, and now the manager, have been absolutely clear he is going nowhere. Yes everyone has a price, but it would take Tonali levels of money to get him. He’s one of the best left backs in the world and arguably as important to #NUFC as Bruno was.
@HuntaThePunta2 I don’t know any Newcastle fan or any decent football fan that supported the Super League.
In terms of spending, I don’t want us to spend loads and dominate. I just want NUFC, and all other non “big 6”, to be able to spend the same as any other club in the league should we wish
@ADMusgrove His reasons for leaving the club are valid. He has been sold a project vision - top players, regular European football, challenging for trophies. We don’t have that.
“He could have signed for Arsenal, but he said no fuck that” doesn’t have the same ring to it anymore.
@ADMusgrove Stranding ovation on his return, then booed every touch of the ball. As we have done for other popular past players. He will no longer go down as a club legend, but he leaves as a guy that gave his all in every game and someone who appears to genuinely love the club.
