Second #coffeestop at @LdnCoffeeFest was the joint @HEJCoffee and @Moma stand, where I had my second ever flat white made with #Moma oat milk and it was *so* good!

They’ve had excellent staff leave, who have been replaced with untrained and/or lazy people who know nothing about how to make coffee and don’t seem to care. So, should I give them this feedback? Or go on my way and take my business elsewhere?

Popped along to @WaitingRoomSE8 for the first time in what fees like years and disappointed to find they’ve switched from Oatly barista to the far far inferior Minor Figures. The Oatly court case is really shit and boycott worthy, but Minor Figures makes coffee undrinkable.

Today’s #coffeestop is one of my all time faves - @NotesLondon which I’ve not been to for the best part of a year. Was sad to find they’ve made the switch from #Oatly to #MinorFigures due to the controversy around the former last year.

So my partner is convinced that there’s so much profit involved in making coffee - per cup bought from coffee shops. But I thought it was the opposite! Does anyone have any links to clarify? I thought it was hard to break even.

Two of my @monzo top three eating spots for 2020 were SE London coffee shops. Please note, the Black Sheep is actually Mouse Tail Coffee Stories - they’ve an issue with their card machine. I’ve not been to Black Sheep once as they’re terrible.
