@utdj99 @utdtimmo That’s not the point i was making, I agree he would not get in at a top team. We need a new RB. I am just saying the fact he’s still here and playing isn’t his fault, he tries his best and probably isn’t good enough for a top team, but what else is he supposed to do?

@utdj99 @utdtimmo He’s had a lot of bad games but he did win our POTS a few years ago, and was pretty decent in that season and has had some good games. Ultimately he gives his all and if he’s not good enough i find it hard to necessarily blame him as he doesn’t pick the team or sign the players.

Genuinely depressed thinking about the future of this club. Only got a few years left at OT, and with this new stadium many will likely be priced out/phased out by these owners. In that time all that's left is watching us become a 13th place side. Really hope we turn this around

@StevenDonovan02 Fair. ETHs transfer windows were shite as well, but his talent ID was awful. He needed to come in with a proper structure around him, a more stable environment. He struggled w translating his ideas and with his man management. As I say, he literally lost his marbles in the end.

And crucially, they need to be willing to fail trying to succeed, rather than failing trying not to fail. Too many safe signings, safe appointments, safe decisions made to avoid blame rather than to actually win. That's how you end up with a squad of individuals and no identity.
