I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.

This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.

Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.

I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.

Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

This cannot be true. Tell me this is not true.

But after fact checks I unfortunately have to say it appears to be true.

At least 87 sailors were killed and 32 were rescued by Sri Lankan forces.

They were unarmed.

The US Navy deliberately sank an unarmed ship that they knew was returning from an international show event, and then left, leaving the rescue to the Sri Lankans.

War is probably the most terrible and inhuman thing we can experience.

And when even the rules of war or the smallest trace of humanity disappear, it becomes hell.

It hurts to see that we are simply forced to accept all of this from a country that right now seems to be creating only chaos, destruction, and disorder across the world.

My love for the United States is practically gone, and I know many people who watch from outside feel the same.

We grew up with American movies, cars, actors, and musicians.

The next decades and the next generations will probably not experience it the way we once did.

We always laughed a little at their tendency toward exaggeration or bad taste in everything, but we also admired it in some way. It was part of our culture for at least 3 generations.

I speak in the plural because I know many feel the same. From Asia to Europe, from Africa to South America.

But now it feels like something has been irreversibly and irreparably broken.

Even if many people hope for a return to normality after Trump is removed and will work for it, it will probably not succeed.

Because millions of Americans elected these monsters.

And the media have already been bought by those monsters.

I wish all of us only the best, no matter where we are from.

But right now the music, movies, actors, and soft drinks feel dull, black and white, and deeply bitter.

If you think God's power is only proven by who wins a battle, then you’ve missed the point of every righteous struggle in history. Allah did not abandon Imam Husayn (a), He honoured him. Karbala was not a failure of divine power, it was a divine lesson in what it means to stand for truth even when the world turns dark.

You think might equals right? Then by that logic, Pharaoh was greater than Moses (a), Nero was greater than the early Christians he burned, and colonial empires were more righteous than the people they enslaved. But history proves otherwise. Truth isn't measured by worldly victory. Sometimes, the blood of the innocent shakes the throne of tyrants more than swords ever could.

If Allah destroyed Yazid on the battlefield, would people remember the message? No. It would just be another war story. But Husayn (a) chose to sacrifice everything to expose tyranny in its ugliest form, in front of history’s eyes forever. Allah didn’t save Husayn (a) from Karbala, He saved Islam through Husayn at Karbala.

And as for saying Yazid’s tyranny was a "fake story," tell that to Sunni, Shia, and even non-Muslim historians who all agree Yazid’s reign was one of corruption, bloodshed, and disgrace. Even major Sunni scholars said:

You mistake Allah’s justice for immediate revenge. But the Almighty isn’t hasty like man, He allows the test to unfold, the oppressor to dig his own grave, and the martyr to become a lantern for eternity. There is a God. And that God made Imam Husayn (a) victorious not by the sword, but by truth. That’s why today, nobody names their child Yazid, but millions name theirs Husayn.
