Aujourd’hui a lieu l’un des plus beaux et l’un des plus importants classique du football argentin ! 🇦🇷

Deux géants du patrimoine du fútbol national, qui se battent pour un objectif, la suprématie sur la ville de Rosario.

Né en 1905, ce derby est devenu au fil des décennies l’un des plus passionnels du pays. Une rivalité qui a même donné naissance aux surnoms des deux clubs : les 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 pour Central et les 𝗟𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝘀 pour Newell’s.

L’histoire raconte que, dans les années 1920, un match caritatif devait être organisé au profit des malades de la lèpre. Newell’s aurait accepté d’y participer, tandis que Central aurait refusé. Les supporters de Newell’s auraient alors traité leurs rivaux de 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀. En retour, Central surnomma les joueurs de Newell’s : les 𝗟𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝘀.

Des insultes lancées entre deux camps rivaux qui, avec le temps, sont devenues de véritables marqueurs d’identité. Et c’est justement ce qui rend ce derby si particulier. À Rosario, le football dépasse largement le terrain.

𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 reçoit 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹’𝘀 au Gigante de Arroyito, pour un nouveau chapitre de cette rivalité vieille de plus de 120 ans. Et dans une ville divisée entre bleu et jaune d’un côté, rouge et noir de l’autre, chaque clásico est vécu comme une bataille pour l’honneur, la fierté et, surtout, pour savoir qui pourra revendiquer le titre officieux de roi de Rosario.

واحد من أعرق وأقدم الديربيات في كرة القدم، يجمع قطبي العاصمة الاسكتلندية هارتس وهيبرنيان في صراع يتجاوز حدود الـ90 دقيقة 👕

البداية تعود إلى 25 ديسمبر 1875، عندما التقى الفريقان لأول مرة في الـMeadows وانتهت المواجهة بفوز هارتس 0-1 ،ومنذ ذلك اليوم تحولت المنافسة إلى واحدة من أكثر الخصومات رسوخًا في الكرة الاسكتلندية 📊

العداوة لها جذور أعمق من كرة القدم؛ هي صراع مدينة، وهوية وتاريخ ،هيبرنيان تأسس في أوساط الجالية الأيرلندية في إدنبرة، بينما أصبح هارتس غريمه المحلي الأبرز، ومع مرور العقود ترسخت المنافسة بين جماهير الناديين وأصبحت جزءًا أساسيًا من هوية المدينة الرياضية 💡

حتى تاريخ الديربي نفسه مليء بالقصص، من بينها نهائيا كأس اسكتلندا اللذان جمعا الفريقين في 1896 و2012، وكلاهما انتهى بتتويج هارتس. وفي المقابل، يبقى انتصار هيبرنيان التاريخي 0-7 على هارتس في تاينكاسل عام 1973 أحد أشهر نتائج الديربي على الإطلاق 🔥

Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute.

I walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
