Britain is currently mowing the grass, hanging the washing, barbecuing, getting its knees out, washing the car, sitting in a beer garden and trying to get a fly out the house.
@ChasingDays Thank you so much! I appreciate the tradition behind it; I think perhaps it was strange to see it televised and to have the general public walking by - felt a little too intrusive.
is the current vigil being held at St Giles part of tradition/protocol? Can’t help but feel it makes a spectacle of the family’s grief - being ogled at by the crowd filing passed. It makes for uncomfortable viewing as opposed to the moving commemorations so far.
Please STOP saying “a few more weeks”. It doesn’t work like that. Pre-covid weddings are booked 2-3 years in advance. Dates are fully booked from 21st June, it is not a case of picking a weekend 3 weeks in advance #whataboutweddings
