@peteolitrace @benscribbles Not sure who you're replying to but I have never been stopped in the UK from simply helping a parent to pack it into a bag at the checkout. Also it's legal here for 16 or 17 year-olds to drink beer, wine, or cider with food if they are with an adult.
@scottygb Not just netflix, the amount of US shows we have started watching and never been able to find out how they would end. Should be allowed to write how things would have played out. Touch, Revolution, Terra Nova.
@i_iratus I used to have days where I couldn't walk. Period pains would stop me sleeping, make me feel sick, I was anaemic and I'd literally be sat in class shaking. I was on prescription painkillers. How this is still being disregarded is beyond me.
@jayniephil@andrewjjbritton@oasis@TicketmasterUK Had the same problem ourselves. So many groups of 3 in a sale where you can only buy two meaning you couldn't get seats where you wanted. Was bad enough battling everyone for the limited two seats together and constantly getting rejected as they'd gone without this on top.
@Markgreen433@IanDunt These are our little ones favourites at the moment. However Moon and Me can do one with it's weird eyed clown. Unsurprising it's from the same person as tellytubbies and in the night garden.
@VictoriaGoldma2 Have you tried Nick Cutter - the Troop. Read it several years back and it was the first horror in a long while which creeped me out. Also for dystopian books - John Marrs and Christina Dalcher have some good ones. Also Jessamine Chan - School for Good Mothers
@babiebazooka I can do this. Really good for magic eye pics. Then again I also used to be able to make my eyes shake but haven't done that for years and don't seem to be able to any more
@captainlivingal@cinnotomon Oh I've put my pinky finger into a puddle of it someone had left on a table in woodwork and I didn't see it. Excruciating pain and tool a chunk of skin off when the glue came off but luckily no scar.
@cinnotomon Managed to accidentally stab the palm of my hand with my thumbnail and it scarred. Have two more from holding a 5 month old kitten when someone knocked at the door and startled him.
@implausibleblog Cant even go past the first 50 seconds. The actual audacity that she can come out and say that after years of the tories pushing more children into poverty. Cannot believe she got voted back into parliament in the first place
@MimiJ9@jessphillips I started watching it too late and had to wait until the next morning to finish it but had to get my mum to give me a spoiler else I'd not have slept. Such a good show. Am going through the adoption process at the moment and so much I can relate to. Laughed and cried a lot.
@TheRyanHamilton Really feel for you both. Reading the stories coming out of the US I am glad to be in the UK. I lost a pregnancy early on and was given four options as to how to fully end it. None of them were particularly pleasant, but at least I was given a choice and it was respected.
@funksoulHulk@Vampfree1110228 I did something similar. Had an appointment with the Dr and told I needed to book another one with a nurse. Went to reception and got told I couldn't book an appointment at the reception. Walked out to the car park and phoned from there
