I rarely use X or send tweets but something needs to be said.
I have a job where I call people for assessments and ask how they are managing with day to day life. I made a phone call to a very mentally unwell gentleman- reporting he wanted to harm himself

When I called 999 they advised the address I was calling about was out of region where I had been put through. Rather than transferring my call they asked me to hang up ring 999 again and request the area I wanted,
Again wasting time

What about the 3 innocent lives that were taken in Nottingham last year by a psychotic man who if had intervention earlier could have been detained?
As a medical professional I was really disappointed with the response today and completely made me lose faith in the police
