Year 8 boys football played @WeydonPE this evening in a close hard fought game. A moment of brilliance from returning Max helped us take the win. Lots learnt with rotation and players playing in new positions!👏
@bennewmark I hope so - making 11 year olds wear ties and blazers (& compulsory jumpers for 6 months of the year) is ridiculous…or in fact 13/14/15 year olds….
@MrsIPrimary @FakeHeadteacher Interesting - we’ve got a world map on the wall and it’s the one thing on the walls that the children spend the most time looking at and talking about….
@MrMcofficial86 I’ve just battled to get my Yr 7 son removed from top set maths. He was set in the 1st week of secondary school, solely based on SATS results. That’s what they told me?! He did well in SATS due to a LOT of targeted booster groups rather than his natural mathematical ability.
1. How old were you when you wrote your first book?
2. Where do you get your inspiration from to write some or your stories?
3. Do you prefer writing or illustrating? ✍️
We would be very grateful! 🙏🙏🙏
@OliverJeffers
Hi Oliver - We’re a Year 2 class in Hampshire and we’re using ‘Here we Are’ in our English lessons at the moment. The children wrote questions to you this week and we wondered if you would answer 2/3 of them? @InfantWootey
@lifeatthenest @WhistleblowingT Totally agree….I trained 6 years ago and the planning that I had to complete and deliver on my PGCE course just can’t be happening now….
I planned a whole half terms scheme of work for English, from scratch and delivered it. That doesn’t seem to be what you see right now…
