103 years ago, on this day, March 15, 1921, Soghomon Tehlirian assassinated Talaat Pasha, the chief architect of the Armenian Genocide.

To honor this valiant act of justice and commemorate the historic event, we are pleased to announce the publication of Tehlirian's memoirs in English. Entitled "Remembrances: The Assassination of Talaat Pasha," this translation marks the first time Soghomon Tehlirian's memoir, Verhishoumner, originally published in Cairo in 1953 by the publishing house of Housaper, the ARF’s affiliate newspaper in Egypt, has been available to English-speaking readers.

Translated by Bedo Demirdjian (@bedodem) and published by the Gomidas Institute, "Remembrances" is now available for purchase on Amazon and in Armenia. This translation not only preserves an important historical account but also makes it accessible to a broader audience, contributing to the ongoing dialogue about justice and remembrance.

@HovhanNaz On the contrary. It was a very interesting experience. Iranian border guards smiling to me upon seeing my Lebanese passport, me, crossing the bridge with my backpack to Russian border guards at the Armenian side and then getting on an Aeroflot helicopter from Meghri to Yerevan 🙂
