Every single post on AITA is either a man posting “AITA for staying at a bar to watch a game that went into overtime while my wife was in labor” or a woman posting “AITA for getting upset at my husband after he let our baby fall into the pool because he was busy playing Fortnite”
If you’re voting for Graham Platner, you don’t really have an issue with Donald Trump’s moral deficiencies; you have a problem with the fact that he’s not on your side.
KNICKS FANS: “oh boy, I can’t wait to enjoy the first NBA Finals Game at MSG in almost thirty years!”
THE CITY’S PRIMORDIAL SIN, RETURNING IN FESTERING DECADENCE LIKE A DORMANT PLAGUE AWAKENING TO ONCE AGAIN BATHE THE STREETS IN PESTILENCE:
No matter how much time passes, I think getting one-shot by a white Mormon kid while blaming gun violence on black people will forever be the worst debate loss. It will never get worse than that. Ever.
i am not a new yorker bc i was born there, i am a new yorker bc a rat once ran over my sandal-clad foot while i was walking thru the 14th street underpass to get on the f to get to my shift as a hostess at a seafood brunch place in carroll gardens and when i got there i got fired
Me: There are unproblematic Dems that can beat Susan Collins in November
The far left: You’re endorsing Susan Collins and want republicans to keep the senate cause you’re a Zionist
I’m a Zionist who wants Dems to nominate someone who doesn’t worship nazis and/or abuse women
Graham Platner is a Republican though. He voted for Susan Collins and dated a Republican operative. What are we doing with this guy? He’s a Republican! An abusive, alcohol abusing Republican! Shake him off!
This is what really gets me. Maine Dems have been itching to take down Collins for decades and they finally get an ideal year and instead of running any of the nearly 100 state legislators we get some total rando that clearly was never properly vetted like… what are we doing.
Being a senator, Supreme Court justice, or in any other position of high power and influence isn't a human right, and it's very reasonable to demand higher standards of behavior in those roles than we do for random mechanics, bank tellers, and project managers.
