Nothing has changed at this coffee shop for the years I’ve come here. The same four people have worked here, with the occasional new face. They have a ton of regulars and on weekends there’s a line to the door. Yeah, service is slow and the menu never changes. But it’s STABLE.

I’m at my locally owned coffee shop that takes 10 minutes to fill an order, but has impeccable vibes and happy employees. You can check out books. They have a printer you can use. The owner is perfectly happy just making a living. This is failure by true capitalist metrics.
