S’s created podcasts using @WeVideo to teach peers about one of the Bill of Rights; it’s history, purpose/relevance in 2019. Then S’s went on a gallery walk to listen to them & reflect on what they learned & write Q’s for the authors. #growthmindset #BVBlendedLearning

@WickedDecent Ask for the Ss feedback regularly(I use exit slips on Canvas) & then pivot as needed to improve your own practice by aligning the medium, task & process to reflect their input. Kids are empowered when they recognize their voice & design in your teaching.

@WickedDecent @jedikermit I had a student do that once for his Civil War PBL project. He created DND characters based on the spies he researched. Then DM’d a campaign based on those. Thx for the reminder. I’ll add option that back into our unit this year.

@MissGeorge124 @lklempnauer1 I have a “borrow basket” at the corner of my desk. Ss may use anything as long as they use their manners & return it at the end of the hour. I also will p/u lost pens/pencils from the hall at the end of the day to add to it. Kids appreciate it!
