Let me make a comparison with one of the best passers in the game.
People forget 2003-2007 Ronaldo WAS Beckham's direct replacement on the right wing. Same shirt, same position. And their creation numbers are almost identical.

At Manchester United on the RIGHT WING:

Beckham's best creative season: 1999/00 - 22 assists all comps
Ronaldo's best creative season: 2006/07 - 21 assists all comps [14 assists in Premier League]

They both had a 20+ assist season from the right wing for United. People just don't remember Ronaldo's because he then scored 42 goals the next year 😅 as a winger.

And for Real Madrid:
Beckham: 51 assists in 159 games
Ronaldo: 131 assists in 438 games

That's 0.32 assists per game vs 0.30 assists per game. Same efficiency. Ronaldo just did it for 9 years while also scoring 450 goals.

This new Fireboy album might actually end up displacing “Apollo” to be my favorite Fireboy album. I love the fact that despite all our cries for him to opt for features that could guary him one or two commercial hits, he stood his ground and expressed himself the way he feels is the best with people that understands his vision.

I commend his courage to experiment with a distinct sound at this stage of his career where doubters might be more than fans. This album might end up like “Apollo”, a critical acclaimed album with little to no commercial success but as a true lover of art, deep down you’d know he cooked and people that failed to see the vision now will catch up later.
