In the process of putting a dent in the theory that "Ashkenazis have some Levantine origin".
The claim: "The AJ cluster sits on the Europe–Levant cline betw S. Italians & Levantines on PC1/PC2."
No, if the "cline" includes the Caucasus, then it sits BEYOND Georgia/Armenia, ar. the BLACK SEAN.
Palestine was never empty. The camera already knew that.
In 1896–97, the Lumière brothers sent Alexandre Promio to film the Holy Land under Ottoman rule. What he captured is among the earliest moving images of Palestine: Jaffa Port, the courtyard of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, Jerusalem’s railway station, sacred sites, and people in the streets.
Muslims. Christians. Jews. Walking the same gates, the same roads, the same land.
Not a slogan. Not a later map. Actual footage of a living country called Palestine — ports, churches, stations, markets, worshippers — before partition, before occupation, before the claim that this was a vacant stage waiting for someone else.
Watch the people, not the propaganda. Jaffa was a port. Bethlehem was a town. Jerusalem was a city of three faiths under one sky. That is the historical record, not a talking point.
Palestine had a name. Palestine had people. The film is still there.

The interviewer does not push back morally when told that it’s ok to kill children because they will grow up to be terrorists. Instead she asks “aren’t these the actions that get us in trouble?” That gives you the entire Israeli mindset in one exchange. The murder of children is not a moral problem. It’s a PR problem.
"The children will grow up".
This was also the argument that Nazi officials gave, during the Nuremberg Trials, to justify why they had killed children during the Holocaust.
There is no justification — none — for such a monstrous loss of life and of human capital. No idea, however grand, and no strategy, however clever, can be worth a nation bled of half its people, a generation of children who cannot read, families erased in a single blast, and a future extinguished before it could begin. When the accounting is finally done, it will not be measured in territory gained or lost, nor in weapons delivered, nor in the applause of red carpets. It will be measured in lives — in the children who never learned, the parents who never returned, the country that was allowed to disappear while the world looked away and called it resolve. History will not ask how loudly we cheered. It will ask what we saved.
For it is written: "Ye shall know them by their fruits. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." So let each of us look, honestly, at the fruit we are bearing today. And let us choose — while there is still time to choose — to bear the fruit of peace.
I call on all European politicians today to unite around the cause of peace, to help bring this terrible Russian-Ukrainian war to an end and to return stability and security to our continent. This, not warmongering and moral posturing, is the way to successful future and the call of our generation of politicians.
My sincere thanks to @dr_neuhoff, @Tino_Chrupalla and @AfDimEUParl for creating the space for an honest conversation and for helping bring voices for peace into the European debate. We all need a path to peace.

I do not know who needs to hear this, but the Middle East is NOT all on fire and not all war everywhere at all times.
There are still about 500 million people that live and breath and work there...
The problem is foreign interference and the drawn borders by western coercion and ignorance that divided families against artificial borders. These treaties need to be annulled and sorted one way or another, one decade or another.
1. Sykes-Picot Agreement (1916)
2. Treaty of Sèvres (1920)
3. Treaty of Lausanne (1923)
At least.... I am sure there are others that deserve to be destroyed but we must start there.
Signal, not noise!
✨ The Truth About the Catholic Church in China by a Catholic Who Lives There for 26 Years✨
When it comes to the Catholic Church in China,Candace Owens has her head up her butt spewing lies. She is ignorantly misinformed and is the last person you should be listening to about anything regarding China especially as she's never set a foot inside a church in China.
Here's why...
There is NOTHING WRONG WHATSOEVER regarding the Catholic church in China
Since I am a Catholic living here in China for twenty six years, you would think i might know a lot more than Candace
And yea you're right, I do. So read on.
Our son received his First Holy Communion and Confession here in China.
Two years later,my Chinese wife attended weeks of our RCIA classes along with 50 other local Chinese adults who were baptized, confirmed and had their First Communions during the annual Easter Vigil Mass as happens in EVERY Catholic church across the world on that day welcoming new Catholics into the Body of Christ.
Oh one more thing, our Catholic church here in Shenyang has Bibles in every pew...
They are Catholic Bible in Mandarin. They haven't been edited and there are no pictures of Chairman Mao or Xi Jin Ping in any of them or in any of the churches either.
Oh gosh one more thing...There's a big, beautiful full body golden statue of Jesus Christ with outstretched hands sitting on top of the 200 feet tall steeple of the church overlooking our city...enjoy the photos
Gee all that, eh?
Let's continue...
There's not one single Catholic or Protestant in China who is prevented from practicing their faith...ZERO
Catholic Mass in China is IDENTICAL to every Catholic Mass in the Vatican Liturgical Mass calendar in every country on the planet.
If you use your cell phone during Mass, one of the Mass attendants quickly comes up to you and admonishes you and tells you to put it away because you are obviously being disrespectful during Mass.
Good so far, right?
So next lets talk about the problems with the Catholic church and how the Chinese govt PROTECTS it's citizens from those problems...
Which is what a responsible government is supposed to do for its citizens, protect them, right?
Shall I list the scandals? Gay Priests abusing boys FOR DECADES and then BISHOPS hiding it doing nothing more than sending that priest to a different parish to abuse more boys
You heard about that,right?
So did the Chinese government.
That's why they allow the practice of the Catholic faith and all the churches, but choose to manage the organisation of the church including choosing those Bishops.
To keep an eye on them.
To not allow Bishops, Priests & Pastors to run amok in the society secretly sexually abusing the boys
You're with me on this,right?
I thought so
Next, let's talk about the Protestant churches, cause i know you keep hearing about how those house churches are getting shut down and terribly oppressed, right?
What's the problem with them?
Well, they have a history of being infiltrated by the CIA in foreign countries to undermine and destabilize the society...that's well known. They have done it again & again in dozens of countries
Their pastors are hypocritical greedy fckwits who use private churches to collect illegal donations and launder money
The money they collect from elderly little old chinese ladies on low income pensions
You know about this too,right?
So does the Chinese government
So when the Chinese govt finds out there's a private illegal unregistered church group that formed and got bigger, they step in and shut it down.
Which is exactly what the government is supposed to do,that's their job.
To protect its Chinese citizens from church scandals and illegal activities, corruption and efforts to undermine the society.
See how that works?
Now you understand the true situation of the Catholic and Protestant churches in China
Hope this helped. If you are a Catholic or Protestant, you owe it to every Catholic or Protestant on planet earth to share this post, thanks.

Israel has broken Australia — caused us to break from the near global consensus to sanction ‘illegal’ Israel.
We must find out how this was done, who, how and why. And we must expose the dark truth to the light.
“European diplomats say they were surprised and disappointed that Australia baulked at joining a UK-led move to impose trade sanctions on West Bank Israeli businesses… declaring ethnic cleansing was taking place in the West Bank and declaring Israel's occupation of the territory unlawful.”

Ukraine is running out of time — and pretending otherwise will not save us.
I spoke with @KoeppelRoger of @Weltwoche about Zelenskyy, the war, peace negotiations, and what Ukraine can still save.
This is not a comfortable conversation. But it is one we need to have.

In 1940, the Nazis had probably not even killed 3 per cent of Polish Jews. But they had destroyed their communities, herded them into ghettos, and were starving and brutalising them. This was already genocide, and would have been so whether or not they went on to exterminate them. Educate yourself—the Final Solution is not the standard of genocide. And it is shameful to glibly use it to excuse the Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza, which has shown broadly similar policies of ghettoisation and starvation to those that Nazis carried out in the early stages of their genocide.
Ukraine never provided the list of the “victims” in Bucha.
So some surnames of people on the memorial wall in Bucha were examined, and turned out to be Ukrainian military, even Azov battalion militants.
The memorial contains over 500 names and has repeatedly served as a backdrop for visits by Western leaders.
Grigoriev said researchers cross-checked the names against Ukrainian media, military records, and social-media accounts, and found that those they traced were Ukrainian servicemen, including Azov and territorial-defense fighters, rather than civilians allegedly murdered by Russian troops.
The soldiers were also found to have had little or no connection to Bucha, and were killed and buried nowhere near the town.
Among the examples cited were Evgeny Petrash and Vladimir Bisaga, who the investigation identified as Azov fighters buried in Kiev and Uzhgorod, respectively.
Two other names, Ruslan Belousov and Roman Dovgalyuk, were identified as Ukrainian military pilots killed when their aircraft was shot down near Berezovka; far from Bucha.
The report also features a number of eyewitness accounts from several conflict-zone towns, pointing to a wider pattern of Ukrainian forces killing civilians and then blaming Russia once Western reporters arrive.
One witness said Ukrainian troops opened fire on civilians collecting water, with journalists arriving to film the aftermath within minutes. Grigoriev said these testimonies show that Kiev repeatedly used civilian deaths to manufacture material for the Western media and claimed that the same method was used in Bucha.
Zakharova stated that the new findings will be submitted to Russian law enforcement, international organizations, and international courts. The investigators behind the report also urged foreign journalists to conduct their own examination.

🚨 Yes, Pink, Supporting Jen O'Side Should Be Lonely — The Macklemore Scandal Just Got Worse 🚨
By now you probably know what’s happened to the musician Macklemore. The short rundown is: He was on a massive tour, opening for Ed Sheeran, and the decision was made to pull him from the tour because he’s outspoken about supporting the Palestinian people. (One of his most popular songs is Hind’s Hall about Hind Rajab, one of thousands of children intentionally mrdered by Israel.) Apparently Sheeran was pressured into canceling Macklemore by Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots football team and grand wizard of the stadium where Sheeran and Macklemore were going to perform.
All of that’s repulsive enough. You have an American billionaire — who’s been prosecuted for being part of an illegal sex ring in his off time — deciding that a musician can’t say anything to support a people who are being Jen O'Sided with American weapons. Great. I love that for us.
But beyond that, we have other famous multimillionaires speaking out loudly in support of the persecution of the guy who stood against Jen O'Side. One of the most striking of these people is Pink, the singer-songwriter who has at various points in her career spoken up for victims of US imperialism. Pink shared a post on social media calling for Macklemore to be canceled from Sheeran’s tour, and she got her wish. (Hooray!)
She’s now playing the victim because some people apparently didn’t like that she effectively endorses Jen O'Side. (I’m not sure what’s gotten into all those haters.) She stated that supporting the Jen O'Side in Gaza has been lonely for her.
“I have stood up for other people’s people my whole career, and I know exactly what it costs. And now I’m standing up for my own people, and I thought I knew going in how lonely that would be. And it’s lonelier than that. But I’m doing it anyway.”

I mean, you have to feel for her. After trying to protect innocent people from the massacres created by the US empire, this one time she decides to sign off on one of our Jen O'Sides — the most egregious in a long, long time — and it turns out it’s lonely. I’ve always said that Jen O'Side lovers should see ramifications for their crimes, but we can all agree loneliness is a step too far.

Pink claims she’s standing up for her people, the Jewish people, but of course this is both provably untrue and f'ing stupid. I’m Jewish. I’m opposed to Jen O'Side. I’m opposed to apartheid states. I’m opposed to ethnic cleansing. I’m opposed to land theft. I’m opposed to racism. And all those reasons are the reasons I oppose every - single - thing - Israel does. When you try to shut down awareness of Israel’s unbelievably vomitous crimes — and awareness is what Macklemore is bringing — you are not defending Jews. You are only defending the murder of innocent people.
A) There are millions of anti-Zionist Jews like me. There are also millions of Christian Zionists. In fact, there are more Christian Zionists inside the US than there are Jews in the world. So don’t pretend like “pro-Israel” equals “pro-Jews.”
B) Israel makes all Jews around the world provably less safe. Not more safe. By convincing everyone to conflate Israel with Judaism, Israel has gotten millions to think that Jews all support Jen O'Side and hatred and racism and bombing innocent people. Therefore, millions of people around the world hate Jews in general thanks to Israel. Those people are wrong to do that. And their ignorance should be laid squarely at Israel’s feet.
C) You cannot claim you’re protecting Jews by covering up Jen O'Side and canceling those who inform people about it. You have protected no one except the Jen O'Side perpetrators. Congrats. Feel proud.
Strikingly, Alecia Moore (AKA Pink) doesn’t realize she has become the monster she once fought against. She’s reenacting the lyrics to her song “Dear Mr. President,” which she first released during the Bush administration, except now she’s the soulless person in power unable to see their own sociopathic behavior for what it is. Here are some of the lyrics:
Dear Mr. President
Come take a walk with me
—
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?
—
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
—
Dear Mr. President, were you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
—
Let me tell you ‘bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away.
So, Alecia, were you a lonely girl? Are you a lonely girl? Are you proud? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
Let us know in the comments section.

Welcome back to one of the most consequential and courageous human beings of this century: easily one of a small handful of pioneers for the causes of a free internet and independent journalism.
The US and UK did everything to break and destroy Julian Assange, but he prevailed:
So depressing to see @JustinOnWeb@bbcr4today day after day giving a platform to voices who wish to see the Palestinians crushed, dispossessed & ethnically cleansed, almost never interviewing their victims & failing ever to push back & suggest that the Palestinians deserve the same rights & freedoms enjoyed by the Israelis. He seems quite content that they remain disenfranchised helots until their 'transfer'.
IMF urges Aus to cut spending.🤬
Labor could cut spending and increase social services by dumping the AUKUS con job. $368B and hundreds of $Bs to house US troops, store and guard radioactive waste.
Social priorities or financial support for the US, UK and Israeli arms industry.
